Salesforce Spotlight – Cirrus Insight
Now that our we are on the Salesforce AppExchange for our Salesforce LMS, we've been getting acquainted with the other awesome companies on the block.
We are so glad to welcome Josh Loomis from Cirrus Insight Insight to our humble blog!
If you don't know what Cirrus does, you must be living under a rock. Here's a short vid anyway:
How to Easily Train People to Use Salesforce
So your company has boarded the Salesforce cruise ship, and you are hoping to sail into the isles of Data-Based Decisions and High ROI. Great decision! It’s beautiful there this time of year.
Now, all you have to do is make sure your salespeople know how to sail the ship. I’m sure everyone will be excited about learning a completely new CRM system, and drastically changing their current workflows. Wait, they’re not? Oh my.
Problem of Salesforce Adoption
Okay, metaphors and sarcasm aside, Salesforce is a great investment, but companies regularly struggle with adoption. If your employees aren’t willing to use Salesforce, or don’t know how to use the system, then it’s not going to have the amazing, promised benefits.
Salesforce depends heavily on data entry. It’s only as useful as the data you put into it. Data entry takes time, and workers often feel it’s taking away from whatever their essential job is (sales, support, etc…).
Properly training people on how to enter the data and why they should do it is a struggle. When new employees are still learning the process, poor data is likely going into the system, and proving unhelpful to everyone.
Workers can also be resentful of having to spend so much time learning how to enter, and actually entering, information into Salesforce when all the benefits go to managers. Managers gain the primary benefit of the analytical insights Salesforce provides. Why should workers bother with it?
How Cirrus Insight Solves the Adoption and Training Problems
Instead of trying to train people on and convince them to use Salesforce, you can use Cirrus Insight. Cirrus Insight is an inbox and Salesforce integration, meaning it allows you to access and use Salesforce in your inbox, instead of having to go into a separate system.
Everyone already works in their inbox, so it makes sense to have Salesforce there too. Cirrus comes with tutorials and walkthroughs (not to mention our intuitive interface) to train you in how to use it. You’ll have full access to the features of Salesforce without having to navigate the often crowded Salesforce interface. You can also customize the app to fit the needs of your specific organization, same as you would for Salesforce.
Cirrus allows users to enter information into Salesforce automatically, or with a single click, and be able to access that information while working. Pull up an email, and the Cirrus side panel will show you all the information you have on that contact in Salesforce. That information allows users to quickly write emails while being fully informed about who they’re writing to.
Someone who isn’t in Salesforce sends you an email? Cirrus scans the email signature, pulls the relevant information, and you can add the new contact to Salesforce with a single click.
The features of Cirrus mean the system is:
- Easier to learn
- Takes less time to use
- Gives full access to the returns of using Salesforce
The major problems with Salesforce adoption are training, time of data entry, and user benefit. Cirrus Insight solves them, thus increasing Salesforce adoption and your company’s ROI on Salesforce at the same time. Not only is training easier, but Salesforce usage is better as well!
If your team is struggling with learning how to use Salesforce, Cirrus Insight can change your team’s entire perspective on the system. In conjunction with the Mindflash Salesforce LMS, your employees will be fully trained and highly productive.
